How long will it take for my order to arrive?

As everything is baked to order, there may be a short lead time of around 5-7 working days or sometimes on longer around busy periods such as Easter and Christmas. If you have chosen your order to shipped, Royal Mail aim to deliver First Class parcels within one working day and Second Class parcels within 2-3 working days.

How much notice do you need for a celebration cake?

Typically for a buttercream cake I need about three to four weeks notice, but on occasion can be two weeks or less for last minute orders. For a fondant covered cake, ideally one month notice, especially if you would like 3D figures to be made or a high level of decoration. It's never too soon to enquiry or make an order though as I can fill up very quickly with short notice orders!

Do you require a deposit?

For all celebration cake or large orders over £30 I require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking and begin to order any supplies needed, as well as make any decorations that may be needed in advance. The remainder of the balance is due 48 hours prior to delivery/collection.

Do you cater for allergies/intolerances?

It is of great importance to note that gluten, eggs, milk, soya and nuts are used on a daily basis in my kitchen. As it is also a domestic kitchen, many of the other 14 main allergens may be handled. As I do my utmost to rigorously clean all surfaces before, during and after baking, some traces of these allergens may still be present. If you have any queries regarding allergies please do not hesitate to contact me before ordering.
